Poultry Manure Conveyor System

The Manure Conveyor is designed to collect and transport poultry manure from beneath cage systems to a designated discharge or waste-processing area. It helps streamline manure handling, reduce manual cleaning work and maintain a more organized poultry-house environment.

Manure Collection Belt

The conveyor belt receives manure accumulated beneath the poultry cages and carries it toward the discharge point. Its continuous movement supports efficient removal of waste from the cage area.

Conveyor Drive System

An electric motor and drive assembly provide the mechanical power required to move the manure conveyor. The drive arrangement can be configured according to conveyor length and system requirements.

Support Structure

The conveyor is mounted on a stable support framework positioned beneath the cage rows. The structure maintains proper belt alignment and provides support during continuous operation.

Scraper / Cleaning System

A scraper or cleaning arrangement can be incorporated at the discharge end to remove accumulated manure from the belt surface. This helps keep the conveyor ready for subsequent collection cycles.

Manure Discharge System

The discharge section transfers collected manure from the conveyor toward a storage area, manure dryer, composting system or other waste-processing equipment.

Belt Tensioning System

A tensioning arrangement maintains appropriate belt tension and helps keep the conveyor running smoothly. Proper tension also supports stable belt tracking during operation.

Working Principle

Manure produced by poultry accumulates on the conveyor belt positioned beneath the cage rows. When the conveyor is activated, the motor-driven belt moves the manure along the length of the poultry house toward the designated discharge point.

At the discharge end, the manure is removed from the belt and transferred to a collection, drying, composting or further processing system. This reduces the need for manual manure removal from beneath the cages.

Construction Details

The Manure Conveyor consists of a durable conveyor belt, drive motor, rollers, support structure, tensioning mechanism and discharge arrangement. The conveyor is installed beneath poultry cage rows to collect manure as it falls from the cages.

The system can be connected to manure dryers, storage areas, composting units or other waste-management equipment for further processing.

Maintenance Requirements

• Clean the conveyor belt regularly.

• Remove excessive manure buildup from the belt and surrounding areas.

Safety Features
