Chiller Plant

A Chiller Plant is an industrial cooling system designed to remove heat from water or another compatible fluid for process and air-conditioning applications. It typically includes compressors, heat exchangers, refrigerant circuits, pumps and control systems. TRADE SBE supplies chiller plants in different capacities to meet industrial and commercial cooling requirements.

Description

Product Applications

Chiller plants are widely used in food processing factories, dairy plants, beverage production units, pharmaceutical facilities, plastic manufacturing, cold storage facilities and commercial buildings. They provide chilled water for processing equipment, cooling jackets, heat exchangers, HVAC systems and temperature-sensitive production operations. The required cooling capacity depends on the heat load, operating temperature and process requirements.

Key Benefits

  • Reliable cooling for industrial processes.

  • Consistent chilled-water temperature control.

  • Available in different cooling capacities.

  • Energy-efficient compressor options, depending on the model.

  • Automated controls for monitoring and operation.

  • Customizable configurations for specific applications.

Working Operation

The chiller absorbs heat from circulating water through an evaporator. A compressor raises the refrigerant pressure, and the condenser releases the absorbed heat to air or cooling water. The refrigerant then passes through an expansion device before returning to the evaporator to repeat the cycle. The chilled water is circulated to connected equipment to maintain the required process temperature.
