Poultry Exhaust Fan
Poultry Exhaust Fan System
The Poultry Exhaust Fan is designed to remove hot, humid and stale air from poultry houses and support effective ventilation. It helps improve air movement, reduce heat accumulation and maintain a more suitable environment for poultry during commercial farming operations.
Exhaust Fan Assembly
The fan assembly consists of a high-airflow ventilation unit designed to extract air from inside the poultry house and discharge it outside. Its configuration is suitable for installation in poultry-house walls or designated ventilation openings.
Fan Blades
The rotating blades generate airflow by drawing air from the poultry house toward the exterior. The blade design and diameter influence the overall air-moving performance of the fan.
Motor System
An electric motor drives the fan blades and provides the mechanical power required for continuous ventilation. The motor configuration depends on the selected fan model.
Air Discharge System
The fan directs extracted air toward the outside of the poultry house. This continuous exhaust arrangement helps remove accumulated heat, moisture, dust and stale air from the building.
Shutter / Louver System
A shutter or louver arrangement can be incorporated at the exhaust opening to help control the opening when the fan is not operating. It also helps reduce unwanted entry of outside air, dust or debris.
Protective Guard
A protective guard can be provided around the rotating fan assembly to help prevent accidental contact with moving components while allowing adequate airflow.
Working Principle
When the fan motor is activated, it rotates the fan blades and draws air from inside the poultry house. The extracted air passes through the fan assembly and is discharged outside the building.
Continuous operation helps remove excess heat, humidity and stale air while supporting fresh-air movement through the poultry-house ventilation system.

Construction Details
The Poultry Exhaust Fan consists of a rigid fan housing, rotating blades, electric motor, protective components and an exhaust opening. Depending on the model, the unit may also include shutters, louvers or automatic opening mechanisms.
The fan can be installed as part of a complete poultry-house ventilation system together with air inlets, cooling pads, environmental controllers and other ventilation equipment.
Maintenance Requirements
Clean fan blades regularly to remove dust and feathers.
Inspect the fan housing and protective guard.
Check the motor for abnormal noise or vibration.
Inspect belts, pulleys and bearings where applicable.
Check electrical connections periodically.
Ensure shutters or louvers open and close properly.
Keep the exhaust opening free from obstruction.
Lubricate applicable mechanical components according to manufacturer recommendations.
Safety Features
The fan should be equipped with suitable protection around rotating components to reduce accidental contact. Secure wall mounting, protected electrical connections and appropriate motor protection should be maintained. The fan should be isolated from the electrical supply before cleaning or maintenance work.
